Christian Flynn, MBChB, BSc
Business and Clinical Development Dr. Christian David Flynn, MBChB, BSc (Hons), PGCert is a medical professional and biotechnology consultant combining clinical expertise with business acumen. Educated at the University of Sheffield and Imperial College London, Dr. Flynn has over five years of experience as a UK-trained internal medicine doctor across various care settings. His diverse medical background, encompassing general and acute medicine, informs his approach to patient care and medical innovation.
Currently pursuing MRCP(UK) membership and an MSc in Global Healthcare Leadership, Dr. Flynn continues to expand his expertise in medicine and healthcare management. As a consultant in business and clinical development, he contributes to the biotechnology sector through his work in clinical trial design and operations, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and strategic planning. His involvement in advancing multiple drug candidates has deepened his understanding of the drug development process. Dr. Flynn's innovative approach led to his selection for the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, where he engaged in projects focusing on digital health and biotechnology. He further developed his skills in healthcare innovation during a two-year tenure as a Clinical Fellow at Alder Hey Innovation, the UK's largest dedicated healthcare innovation centre. At Renexxion, Dr. Flynn leverages his diverse skill set across multiple critical areas. He supports the ongoing Phase 2b global clinical trial, contributes to Phase 3 planning, and plays a key role in shaping medical affairs, licensing and commercialisation strategies for naronapride programs. His unique blend of clinical insight, scientific knowledge, and hands-on experience in clinical operations significantly advances Renexxion's drug development initiatives. Aligned with the company's mission, Dr. Flynn is committed to addressing areas of high unmet medical need through the development of innovative treatments for gastrointestinal disorders. |
